What You Can Do

Because we depend on public and private donations - financial, equipment and services - are vital to the success of the clinic. A 501(c)3 organization, the Fayette CARE Clinic is seeking the support of all Fayette County. Already, our local health care community has committed hours of volunteer medical and dental care to our patients. Outpatient procedures such as laboratory tests and radiology services are being donated by Piedmont-Fayette Community Hospital, while surgical and various community and hospital programs are supporting specialty services.

To help you with your decision as to how much to give, consider this:

Medical exams and medications for High Blood Pressure cost $540.00 per year, per patient.
Medical treatment plus medications for Diabetes cost about $1,000.00 per patient, per year.
Blood work for diabetes check-ups cost about $1,200.00 per year, per patient.

Give voice to your compassion by helping meet the hidden health care needs within Fayette County. The Fayette CARE Clinic is an opportunity for you to help by committing time or talent, donating medical or office equipment or contributing monetarily to this vital effort. No matter the type, size, or amount of your gift, its benefit will ripple throughout Fayette County and our community will be all the stronger for it. What can you do?

Needed Items

We have created a list of items that are needed at the clinic. This list will be updated as equipment or supplies are received. Please click here to see the current list. Donors who wish to donate a specific item or piece of equipment will have their name attached to that particular item. All donors will receive a tax-deductible receipt.

February 2008

Clothes Less Traveled has awarded a $10,000 grant to be paid in quarterly increments of $2,500. This money has been donated to assist with the rent of the Fayette Care Clinic. Thanks again Clothes Less Traveled for your donation.

Georgia Power Foundation has donated $2,000 to the Fayette Care Clinic. We thank them for the donation as well as the volunteers they provide us each week to assist our doctors and patients.

First Presbyterian Church donated $437.50 toward the clinic expenses. First Presbyterian has provided these funds to the clinic monthly for the last year. We are very thankful for all they do to assist us.

Ga. Power Foundation, Inc. donated $1,000 on behalf of Adrianne Collins.

Tracy Murdock made a contribution of $100.00 in memory of Ed Eickenberg from his daughter.

First Baptist Church of Jonesboro - $1,659.43

Barbara Eickenberg made a contribution of $300 in memory of her husband Ed.

New Horizons Fellowship donated $200.00

Fayette Day Break Rotary Club donated $1,250.00 towards the purchase of an EKG machine

Genesys Family Practice, Inc. Donated $500.00 to our clinic.

United Community Banks - $300.00 dinner for volunteers quarterly.

Christian Women's Fellowship - Community Christian Church $32.75 monthly.

Georgia Power Foundation, Inc. $3,000 Grant

Fayette Daybreak Rotary Club - $100.00 monthly for dinners

First Presbyterian Church - Peachtree City $437.50 monthly.

Alpha Internal Medicine - Dr. Betsy Horton $250.00 monthly.

The Physicians of Piedmont Clinic have made a one-time donation of $50,000 to the Fayette Care Clinic

The Community Foundation has awarded a $20,000 grant to our Clinic.

Clothes Less Traveled Thrift Shop, Inc. has awarded a grant to FCC for $18,000.

South Metro Dental Study Club awarded FCC $2,000 for dental equipment.

Fayette Day Break Rotary Club provided $2,500 to FCC towards the cost of the dental x-ray machine.

St. Matthew Catholic Church donated $1,250.

Dogwood Church, Inc. has donated $1,563 and two of their members, Mr. & Mrs. David Coppage donated $20.00 and Roberta J. Herman donated $20.00.
