Who We Are
Our Mission is to promote the health and well-being of Fayette County’s uninsured and working poor through compassionate patient care.
Fayette CARE (Compassion And Respect
for Everyone) Clinic is a 501c3 non-profit dedicated to providing medical, dental, vision, dermatology, cardiology, physical therapy, gynecology, and chiropractic care to the uninsured and working poor in our community. We also provide education, preventative care, and referrals which offer a gateway for additional medical services when needed.
Our patients often delay medical care because they cannot afford to see a doctor. This puts them at risk of a health crisis due to a lack of preventive care. For those who do manage an initial doctor visit, many are unable to afford needed medications or follow-up visits to resolve their illness. By providing them access to the medical care they need, we hope to help reduce potential health crises for them now, and into the future.
Who We Are
Fayette Care Clinic opened its doors on May 1, 2006 in Fayetteville, GA. Providing only medical care, and open only one evening each week, we began serving the uninsured and working poor in the community. Since that time our organization has grown in significant ways. We've expanded our services, increased our hours of operation, hired more staff, developed relationships with more volunteers and community partners. As a result, we're able to help much more of the underserved population in Fayette County.
The clinic's health care delivery system is modeled after the Hilton Head Volunteers in Medicine (VIM) Clinic that opened in 1993. That clinic now serves more than 20,000 patients each year.
Our staff includes skilled, licensed, health care providers who volunteer their time and talents to serve our patients. Additional volunteers from the community help at the clinic with a wide range of tasks.
Fayette Care Clinic partners with the following organizations to provide quality care to the underserved. We are grateful for these groups which continue to share their experience and support of the work done at the clinic:
Loida Bonney, MD, MPH
Jaqueline De La Paz

Toni Guzi, APRN
Vendella De Moors
