Fayette CARE Clinic Organization

The ongoing operations will be governed by the Board of Directors.  A salaried Clinic Director will carry out day-today operations, coordinate the efforts of the pool of professional and lay volunteers who will deliver the services of the clinic, and manage the business of the clinic.  The "By Laws" of the Corporation have been adopted and will govern the decisions of the Corporation.  In addition complete Medical, Dental and Business procedures have been written and approved by the Board of Directors.  The Board of Directors has appointed a chair person for each committee and written 5 year plans based on the clinic goals.
 
Procedures are in place with the Georgia Department of Community Health to ensure coverage of our licensed volunteers  health and dental providers under sovereign immunity protection.  Please providers please sign up to volunteer or call the office.

Board of Directors

The Fayette CARE Clinic (FCC) Board of Directors is a group of 12 – 15 volunteers who are appointed for a two-year period.  The Board is responsible for the oversight and operation of the FCC.  This includes the oversight of all aspects of the Clinic including donations, equipment and services.  The following Members have been appointed to the Board of Directors.

In addition, over 20 volunteers are currently working on the above committees and another 50 are applying for specific areas of interest and have expressed their desire to serve.

Steering Committees

Steering committees chairs have been formed in order provide the administration and function support needed to achieve goals established by the Board of Directors in the 5 year plans:
 
  Education: Diabetic, Hypertension and English
Volunteers: Medical & Dental providers, office & education
  Medical Services: Patient services, authorization of supplies, needs update and identify education needs
  Dental Services: General Dentistry, specialist, authorization of supplies and identify education needs
  Fundraising: Annual event, established quarterly/monthly activities, and video development
